GB Energy’s strategy is to develop the Golden Beach Energy Storage Project to provide critical energy storage infrastructure that will materially benefit the Victorian energy market. It will do so in a manner that respects the environment and the community in which it operates.
Benefits to the Victorian energy market include:
Energy Supply: Short-term supply of energy into a declining market
Energy Security: On demand supply to a market with increasing fluctuations in supply and demand
Support for National Net-Zero objectives: in parallel with support for transition to renewable energy the potential use of Biogas and Hydrogen can be integrated into the Project’s operations
Transition to Renewables unlocks the potential for renewable energy initiatives by storing energy to assist in the management of potentially intermittent renewable generation
